About Andrea

With a desire to enter the Health field, after high school I first pursued a diploma in Fitness and Health from Fanshawe College in London. Realizing I needed more, I furthered my career and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Sutton/Toronto, ON in June 1995.

My practice is located in the beautiful, quaint little town of Thornbury Ontario, where I am open to treating clients from children and infants, to pregnant moms to adults of most ages.

I have been practicing Swedish massage in a variety of settings, including a Health Spa, Physiotherapy Clinic where I dealt specifically with motor vehicle accident injuries, Le Scandinave and to this day, my home practice.

I enjoy working on a variety of issues (headaches, sports injuries, pregnancy/children and chronic/acute injuries), every day is different. Nothing is ever the same. My practice is charming, comfortable and full of laughter. I like to listen while others talk, or enjoy a nice quiet moment. Always a positive experience. I encourage you to communicate your wants and needs, whether it be pressure, temperature or music, so that I may give you the most beneficial massage. I use grapeseed oil as my base but prefer to use all natural products from Two Herbal Mama's as my primary massage lotion. I do like to 'dig in' and stretch it out.

In our field it is important to continue our education. I learn from others and their experiences and value what I have obtained. I have taken some courses to further my goals and improve my techniques

I am married and have 3 wonderful children, Jackson, Makenzie and Alexandra. We are all active in sports and volunteer in the community throughout the year.

I love to swim, walk and camp in the summer and can't get enough hockey and snow shoeing in the winter.
